Mr. Kurt Derieuw, Country Manager for Electrawinds in Serbia and General Manager of Energo Zelena, was a participant at the VIP (Vojvodina Investement Promotion) seminar „Waste which management and possibilities of using waste for energy purposes” which was held on 28/02/2013 in Apatin.
In his presentation he emphasized importance of raising awareness and informing local governments, abbatories and meat processors about the necessity of proper treatment of animal waste, and he pointed out the proportion of damage that can be caused by incorrect and illegal treatment of animal waste.
