On May 20th in the morning the Ministries of Agriculture of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegowina and of the Republika Srpska sent an enquiry to the Ministry of Agriculture of Serbia requesting permission to collect and transport drowned animals to Energo Zelena
After a risk assessment and an inspection of the Energo Zelena, the Serbian authorities immediately agreed and provided all necessary permits thus demonstrating solidarity with their neigbours.
Today at 19h a first truck arrived in Indjija with drowned animals from Republika Srpska: the custom procedures were well prepared so the transport was not delayed.
Beside the Serbian Ministry of Agriculture's solidarity we would especially like to mention the great gesture from the Croatian rendering company Agroproteinka: Agroproteinka serviced the transport on request of the authorities and started from Zagreb, collected the drowned animals in Republika Srpska and finally delivered these in Indjia.
